Richard,

I've been trying to use asc2root under AIX to translate the files we have
here.  I am constantly getting errors after the first two events.

Welcome to asc2root. Converting .//sim-ZZ-none-all-500-1.dat

Starting run# 1 event# 2

 *** Break *** illegal instruction

I get this both with the xlC and g++ code.  I'll try to investigate this,
but have you seen this problem as well?
