Dear Colleagues, The next general meeting of the American Linear Collider Detector group has been fixed. It will take place at LBL, on March 29-31, 2000 Jim Siegrist ([log in to unmask]) will coordinate the arrangements. To prepare for this meeting, we are scheduling a set of tutorials for the community, to be held at SLAC, Fermilab, and Cornell. The SLAC tutorial will take place this Thursday, Nov. 11. The announcement can be found on the Web at: www.slac.stanford.edu/~mpeskin/LC/tutorial.html The program will include hands-on instruction in the LCD software. If you have West-Coast colleagues who might wish to get involved in LCD, encourage them to come. We are planning to put the tutorial materials up on the Web for future availability. I'll send the details in a later note. Best wishes, Michael Peskin
