Hi,

Today I added a number of components to the HPS Java JIRA project.

To see them, go to this page.

https://jira.slac.stanford.edu/browse/HPSJAVA

Click on the "Components" link on the left hand menu.

This will allow us to categorize issues when they are created. Please make sure to add one or more relevant component tags from the "Component/s" drop-down box in the "Create Issue" page when you create a new item. If you can't find a relevant category then let me know and it can be added.

I assigned at least one component for each open bug. I will go ahead and attach components to the closed/resolved issues as well.

I made a special component called "Wishlist" which can be used to tag issues as "nice to have" features that might not be implemented in the near future. This way Jira can be used as a long-term task manager (if you wish) for non-essential features.

Let me know if you have any questions.
