Thanks for this interesting remark, but it seems official stack still
rely on http://sw.lsstcorp.org/eupspkg.
Indeed using
EUPS_PKGROOT="https://sw.lsstcorp.org/eupspkg"
returns next error:
eups distrib: Transport for file not recognized:
https://sw.lsstcorp.org/eupspkg/config.txt
So I can't change this for now, sorry.
