Hi all, this is the QA for the new production started yesterday. They are around 3.8 fb-1 for data, all the b0 cocktail for year 2000 and all bp cocktail for 2000 and 2001. Breco Yields: ------------- B->DstarX http://www.slac.stanford.edu/BFROOT/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/islrecoil/newyields/data_0809_3.8fb/sxModes-2.html B->DcX http://www.slac.stanford.edu/BFROOT/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/islrecoil/newyields/data_0809_3.8fb/sxModes-4.html B->Dstar0X http://www.slac.stanford.edu/BFROOT/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/islrecoil/newyields/data_0809_3.8fb/sxModes-3.html B->D0X http://www.slac.stanford.edu/BFROOT/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/islrecoil/newyields/data_0809_3.8fb/sxModes-5.html 1) Now Dstar0 has both Dstar0->D0pi0 and Dstar0->D0gamma (this is one of the fix we implemented in the last days) 2) Yields are consistent with the previous studied (gain of 25-30%) 3) Recalculation and reoptimization of the integrated purity per mode is required No history plot since the statistics in poor. Comparison data-cocktailMC -------------------------- All --- http://www.slac.stanford.edu/BFROOT/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/islrecoil/comparisons_0809/datacock/datacock-comp.html Note: much more B0's in cocktail MC than in data B0 -- http://www.slac.stanford.edu/BFROOT/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/islrecoil/comparisons_0809/datacockb0/datacockb0-comp.html Bch --- http://www.slac.stanford.edu/BFROOT/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/islrecoil/comparisons_0809/datacockbch/datacockbch-comp.html 1) still poor statistics 2) no evident problem seen 3) problem in mm2 distribution is still there (more stat to understand if it is better in Bch) 4) number of neutrals distribution seems to be a bit better now We can go on with the production. Let wait more statistics to find hidden pathologies. Daniele
