Dear Colleagues,
Dr. Marburger recently spoke to the AAAS Policy Forum on the
topic of "Budgetary and Policy Context for R&D in FY 2009".
The text of the address can be found at:
http://www.ostp.gov/galleries/speeches/05-08-08%20jhm%202008%20AAAS%20Policy%20Forum.pdf
This was his seventh, and perhaps last, appearance as the
President's Science Advisor and head of the White House science
advisory apparatus at this forum. As such, it presents an
interesting insight into the strategies which the administration
has attempted to follow and, perhaps, a summary of what he would
like the legacy of his tenure to be.
